This is a free application developed by agroupof individuals at the SDET Unit, Birla Institute ofTechnology &Science, Pilani, Rajasthan, India.This is meant for official use across various campuses ofBITSPilani campuses around the world.This application needs to have connectivity to thedesignatedweb-services hosted on the BITS Pilani cloud managed fromPilanicampus.The current version is meant for an Android Device havingatleast a quad core processor, a 2 MP (preferably 5 MP) FrontCameraand running Android 4.1 or later. It, in addition, requiresWi-Ficonnectivity to the BITS Pilani network.User must be a regular Faculty Member at a BITS Pilani campus,aBITS Pilani student on any of its campuses duly registered inacurrent course or a BITS Pilani Administrator. At this pointoftime, this is under pilot testing at Pilani, Goa and Dubaicampusesfor select courses and is in processor getting tested nextweek atHyderabad campus as well.Credits:Concept and Architecture: Prof. B. This is the first version of theE-registerapplication for BITS-Pilani's E-Attend Service.All the modules of the application, including facedetection,image storing, data download and upload have beentestedsuccessfully on the recommended Android device.
